Delete your Firequote account

We make it as easy as we can to leave.

In the app

1. Open Firequote on your phone
2. Go to Settings (bottom tab)
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account
4. Confirm

Your account is deleted within 30 days. Your active subscription is cancelled. Drafts and personal data are removed.

If you don't have access to the app

Email privacy@firequote.app from the address registered to your account. Subject line: Account deletion request.

We'll verify it's you and delete your account within 30 days. If we can't verify, we'll write back and ask for proof.

Before you delete

Download a PDF copy of any proposal, invoice, or signed agreement you want to keep — your own bookkeeping or tax retention obligations may require this. Each document has a Download PDF option in the editor and on the shareable client link.

What's kept and for how long

• Drafts, personal account data, push tokens, view tracking, uploaded files — deleted within 30 days.
• Proposals accepted by a client (simple accept or signature) — stripped to the accepted PDF + the acceptance audit trail and kept for 5 years from the date of acceptance, then automatically deleted. Both you and your client have a legitimate interest in being able to refer back to a contract you both agreed to.
• Invoices that were paid (or that you manually marked as paid) — stripped to the final PDF + a record of when and how payment was confirmed, kept for 5 years from the date of payment, then automatically deleted.
• Billing records held by Apple or Google — these remain with them under their own retention policies. We have no power to delete that data; request deletion or correction directly through your Apple ID account or Google account settings.
• Analytics data in PostHog — a deletion request is sent via their API.
